Tom has played music since Jr. High school, but really started his music career while attending Augsburg College in Minneapolis MN. He started out as a solo musician playing colleges and coffee houses.
His first Jump into the live band scene with a band called Lazy Jake, a three piece original band in which he played guitar and was lead vocalist. He would later form a new band with bass player Drue Mitchel called Scare Crow Joe. This band would go on to play many of the main venues in the twin cities.
After moving to Marshfield with his lovely wife Penny, Tom took a few years away from playing until forming the band Abandoned Freight witch played locally for while.
Tom most recently played in the Local band Grain as a rhythm guitar player and back up vocalist. Tom is very excited to jump back up front for Toy Guns, and is looking forward to producing a high energy rock show. One of Tom’s major goals for the band is to write a kick ass original record so be on the look out for new things to come.
